"We're not the Bad Guys" say The Farmers behind plans to build the largest dairy farm in Europe at Nocton in Lincolnshire are set to resubmit their proposals next month despite continued protests from animal welfare campaigners and local residents.

VEGANS in Lincolnshire have reiterated their opposition to a super-dairy in the county.

As reported in the Echo in April, Nocton Dairies Ltd pulled its plans for an 8,100-cow milking facility on a 22-acre site near Nocton.

Another proposal is imminent as representatives of the firm plan to meet residents this weekend.

Involved in the £40 million super-dairy project are farmers Peter Willes of Devon, David Barnes of Lancashire and Robert Howard of Nocton.
