Lincoln Veggie Fayre 2011 - Great Success
Vegan Lincs organised the 4th Lincoln Veggie Fayre 2011 on Saturday 12th November, Juliet Gellately Director and Founder of Viva opened the event which was a great success with almost 700 visitors attending the event - with many coming from Birmingham, Sheffield, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire - the feedback was really positive and everyone enjoyed the day. There were lots of new faces, and there were many who had been before - some even were reunited after several years of not seeing each other.
We had a surpise visit from famous Dub Poet and author - Benjamin Zephaniah, who enjoyed the event and sampled some great vegan friendly food - including Yellowbelly's Sticky Toffee Cup Cake! (see www.yellowbellys.co.uk for a short clip of Benjamin's comments on yellowbelly's cakes)

All exploitation of animals is morally wrong and we shouldnt play favourites by suggesting that one type of torture is better than another. That's like saying water boarding on a padded board is more moral than on a solid board, sure it's slightly better but at the end of the day you are still water boarding. Dont buy free range, freedom food or "happy meat", go vegan.

Its just sick and wrong all of the farmers that use those methods should be ashamed. and consumers need to buy free range or organic foods.
